Do you mean the "Reg" fee ? ?

If so, tis a pitance for the for what you get from the venue, dealers and staff and necessary due to the goverment being A********

One of the most ridiculous posts i have read here.

Good luck finding somewhere that gives you more value for money for the fees you pay.

Ooooh! Bit harsh guys.

I see he posted at 4 in the morning, maybe still a little worse for wear?

also newish to site, basically you don"t really get owt for nowt Keith. Also the quality and staffing you get at DTD make it abit special and pro-like trny.

There are cheaper spots, but you"ll probably end up self dealing etc, and nobody to control the argumentative fools.
Then you may aswel have a home game, or play up a mountain ;D

... aye a bit harsh indeed ... but a 4pm post ...

Poker rules for UK road trips ... they should end at DTD ... having won some money along the way ...

Back to the original poster - where are you based - what characteristics do you want your road trip to have - what budget?

there is places cheaper for registration fees (palace casino in great yarmouth, east anglia is free registration and the 4th buy in is free) but the quality and value is terrible and usually self dealt. dtd is a great venue(only been once myself but was so impressed im trying to get time and cash to go again) and maybe on the slightly pricey registration fee but its definately worth every penny, dealers, lots of entrants and a good prizepool. cash could cost you more in one raked pot but it is seriously worth going.  it has to be the best place to play in europe(the victoria is good but very expensive and tourneys are poorly organised) to play, i wish i lived a lot closer so i could play more often

I HIGHLY recommend you do. By going to so many others along the way, you"ll be able to compare and see how great DTD is.

GL with it.

Why do people ever bother typing that - some idiot will always come along and post some trivial question about whether the thread is really closed or not.

So, is this thread really closed now?

Try Broadway Birmingham poker schedule on line. Stoke Stanley Casino may need to call for poker schedule not always up to date on line. Places you could call in on your way to or from DTD.
