Title: Scottish Amateur Championship - Payment Failures
Post by: APAT on July 07, 2009, 22:41:31 PM
Unfortunately there have been issues with the payment server for the Scottish event and entry payments for the following players have not successfully gone through.

We apologise for the inconvenience that this may cause and we would ask you to pay your entry fee directly at the Gala Maybury Casino, prior to the start of play on day one.  Please allow an extra hour to ensure your payment is made in plenty of time.

This list also includes players who were due to pay their entry fee in Scotland, prior to the payment server problem occuring.

If there are any questions relating to this, please post them in this thread.

Take it that means if we"re doing an entry transfer and the person we"re buying the ticket from is on the list then we"ll pay at the casino too yeah? So we should just sort out a transfer back of the money?

Are messages being sent to those on the list? I only ask that anyone that doesn"t read the thread could turn up not knowing about this problem.

Yes, this has been highlighted on the home page of the APAT site and within the player briefing for the event.  An email will also be sent.

I would be tempted to leave it until Saturday Steve, to ensure they are focussed solely on the APAT event.  I wouldn"t want them not marking it off a list.

Just want to check something.
I bought James Edwards"s seat in the clickfest as he was in vegas at the time and I qualified on line. Last night I got the email (above). I"m assuming that it"s James"s seat that is unpaid for (as in the list earlier in this thread) and that blue square have paid for mine.
Cheers.

My debit card has just been taken in for councelling since he read this thread.  He has never ever failed in the act before.  Looks like I have to replace him with this card.

Jon,

That is correct.  James will just need to pay for his on arrival on Saturday at the casino.

Your seat has already been paid for via Blue Square.

We"ll resend again this evening, but everyone should have received unless their spam folder intervened or their seat was initially bought by a friend using their own email address.

I"ve asked for this to be checked Brian and will have an update later today.  I don"t have access to the master spreadsheet at the moment, but did you pay for anyone else also?  We"re certainly not looking to have anyone pay twice so rest assured if there is an error, it will be corrected.

my name is on the list but I have not recieved an email. I  have exchanged my seat to sam mcdonald  and done a transfer through pokerstars.i need confirmation that this seat exchange has  taken place,  I have emailed customer services but no reply yet. Checked my bank and the money has not gone out so I need to know if sams name is on the player list so I can inform him that he will have to pay on the day and I can transfer funds back to him

They were trying to do you out of £75 Brian so I have corrected the player list.  You do not have to pay at the casino.  I have asked them to recheck the entire list and yours was the only anomoly.  Apologies for that.
