Right well here goes,
My job is currently looking a bit on the ropes at the moment with cut backs at the like. Joys of the credit crunch i guess.
I am beginning to look into renting a retail space(still undecided on size) and getting a new card club on the go hopefully making it the best value and most confortable venue in glasgow. Also hopefully fully dealer dealt if there is enough demand for it.
Basically what im looking for is either...
- 1 or 2 Business partners who are like minded and looking to make a successful business.
- An already well established Poker Club Branch who are looking to expand up to glasgow that would like to work with a deciicated person who loves poker and wants to deliver the best experience possible.
If anyone is interested at all you can either reply here, PM me, email me at kevmcd37@gmail.com or phone me on 01415732908
Cheers much,
Kev

nice idea, but suggest you have a look at the history of DTD, and the pain Rob went through to get it started, and the pain he still goes through just to keep the tax man happy.
I suspect you will need backers with the odd million or two to invest to get going.
-
probably need to look at the history of the gutshot as well.
i guess its regulations/licences that are the problem
-
...or just do what loads of the illegal card rooms do and ignore the law who in turn, ignores them.
-
I think we should be supportive of the guy. I hear the retail space in Glasgow is quite plush.

And I"ve come up with a catchy name for the club also.

I used to have a girlfriend who lived in Hamilton and would say she was going "down South" if she was going to Newcastle or Carlisle.

I think you look at a map you will find England is at the "bottom" of the UK and Scotland is at the TOP, just like it"s going to be at the APAT Euro Championships. ;D
