Awful coverage this yr!!  Only really showing those predictable hands, and that quiz thing tilted me bad!!  Grim stuff - it can only get better!!  AND they rnt showing the HORSE which is clearly terrible!!

ante up for africa coverage = fail

Yeah the ante for Africa is poor

But watching how bad Herschel walker is and also how Charles barkley"s card skills are as bad as his golf swing is quite entertaining

+ not showing the HORSE had the effect of decimating the field. No TV = sponsors not putting their "horses" in. Less sponsored players = less dead money = less pros = less value = less players etc.

there is talk of making the HE element of the FT no limit to entice tv back.

not fair on limit experts but tv rules in the land of the free and the home of the brave.

in Negranues blogs he actually said that it was his worst performance in the ME for a long time. I think he said he was really ill, took some pills and didnt really care enough. Made a bad move at the wrong time to get busted.

If you watch it, Negraneau does look properly ill ! Just unlucky that it was on day one of the ME. Still he plays loads of these big tournaments, imagine if that had been one of us guys, now that would be really sick!  ;)

Exactly. if you look at his tourneys comming up, he has a packed out schedual....hes in barca right now about to start the EPT. then london for the EPT and WSOPE. Then all the other EPTs comming up soon. I think he can afford one bad performance.

I guess ESPN have rights over 1st showing, I note they have a show on the 10th.

Who"s going to win then................I saw a poll on wsop website, and Ivey had over 70% of vote!!... :o

Love to see him or Ackenhead win.

Negreanu has a big piece of Ivey - a win or nothing bet with MANY that Ivey wins over Darvin Moon. If neither of them win, no money won / lost. Interesting bet IMO.

Want Akenhead to win but that"s a TOUGH task. Eric Buchman my tip, he"s calm as you like.

I like the look of buchman myself, Cada is in with a decent chance aswell.

Akenhead is just getting blinded away atm

So Cada"s pocket nines hold up against Moon"s queen jack suited, and he is the youngest ever WSOP main event winner.

Fair play to young Cada - a truly awesome victory.

From the way the hands were reported, I agree with Mike Matusow and Dan Negreanu"s tweets tho - it was DEF NOT a lesson on how to play HU poker.

GG Moon although Negreanu"s pretty pleased to say the least that he didn"t win. "Tytytytytyty for saving my entire bankroll!"
