Days Hotel, Luton (http://www.dayshotelluton.co.uk/)

Best Western Menzies Strathmore, Luton (http://www.bestwestern.co.uk/Hotels/Best-Western-Menzies-Strathmore-Hotel-83899/Hotel-Info/Default.aspx)

I think there is a train that goes from Luton Airport to town centre, someone from the area should be able to confirm best way.

Luton Travelodge is currently £29/night for twin/double for European dates, though liable to increase closer to the time.

Increase to what, triple rooms, quadruple rooms ?

Sounds a bargain to me, thats half the price of other well known hotels in Luton.

I believe there is an Easy Hotel in Luton also, they use the concept of "you get what you pay for"

You want a window, that"ll be extra, you want the remote contol for the TV, that"ll be a fiver please.  I kid you not.

Great idea though.

Actually, now you mention it, if you book a family room, you get a double and a couch that converts into two singles, thereby allowing the whole Scottish team to inhabit one room at a cost of £7.25 each.
