Title: Um... (London regional)
Post by: DaveTheBrave on October 05, 2007, 17:23:20 PM
So I"ve called the casino twice today and they seem to have no clue about any 2.30pm APAT event kicking off tomorrow. They only seem to know of a £50 NLHE event at 7.30pm and a £20 NLHE on Sunday...

Slightly worried..

No need for concern, the Cardroom Manager is very aware of the event.

My advice when asking the casino"s about poker events is to ask to talk to the cardroom manager or someone who is in the cardroom at the time. This is clearly ideal at about 6.30pm-7.00pm just before most tournaments kick-off in the evening. Most of the front reception staff don"t have a clue what"s going on with the cardroom unless the cardroom has given specific instructions, as they had at the G Casino (Manchester) when I rang yesterday. However, even he seemed to get confused by trailing off all the blind details without me even asking!

And they say too much information can be a bad thing.   ;)
