Yes I had the pleasure of being on tables with Steve for long periods yesterday and chatted to him on breaks and is a good guy and deserves a big one.

Steve"s a good "un and has made three or possibly four APAT final tables over the last few seasons. Good luck him.

Aye he is Des, unfortunately though we shared the table with David La Ronde which was souring the experience somewhat, I"m pretty sure he"s get an APAT ban ;)

Thanks for the support guys, I went out with AQs vs AK, had about 12 big"s left and raised and was put in, so cannot really raise/fold AQs in that spot, also had KK with a difficult board and facing action and had to fold.
All in all a great experience, and apart from a smattering of good pros like Julian Thew, Jeff Kimber etc, the standard wasn"t that much higher than APAT events, so I"d urge everyone to give them a go and try and qualify :)

He was first out 2nd hand of the tourney. It was quite funny as we were talking beforehand and Al said he was going to play it tight today, I"d only just sat down and he was already leaving ;D
