Title: I've won my seat, now how do I pay for it?
Post by: ashhen on October 11, 2007, 11:08:59 AM
I qualified through a live regional game at the weekend and was paid the money by the casino for my seat. How do I go about actually paying for the seat though? Should I await an email from APAT with instructions or am I meant to be more proactive?

Many thanks

You should have been paid your 1st place prize money and the casino should have kept back £75 to forward on to Walsall for your entry fee.
Have a word with your cardroom manager to ensure they have done this.
If not they should contact the APAT to sort it out.

Gala casinos pay out money direct - I"m sure this thread will remind APAt to send you the link you need to pay.

If it was a Grosvenor - then ashhen was right, but I"m sure APAt can sort it out in the same way. No need to panic just yet :)

Hey

It was a Gala casino where I played. I gather there is some delay with APAT receiving a list of names from the casinos due to the postal strike, anyhow I handed over my email address on the day (although i had previously registered on the site) so hopefully I"ll be sent something at some stage.

Thanks for the help.

The Gala Edinburgh did not pay out the money direct. They held the £75 for all six of the players who qualified from this regional.

I"m guessing it will be the weekend before the full player list will be posted for the English National?
