3.40am: Bedi boom
The biggest pot at the tournament was saved for the last level of the day. Soleiman Masud raised from second position and it was folded all the way around to Rupinder Bedi in the big blind who did a massive re-raise all-in. Soleiman looked shocked for a moment and then made the automatic all with pocket aces. Bedi tabled pocket sixes and looked to be heading out the door until a magical six fell on the flop to hand him the pot worth around 160,000, crippling his opponent in the meantime.
When you run good you run good!! Keep it going George! :)

The 66 hand was a bit of a spew but it was very late and we"d played for almost 13 hours.
I opened utg to 4200 at 800/1600/200 out of a stack of 80k and villian who"d been quite active and seemed very capable 3 bet me to 12,400. Perhaps I should have considered the fact that he was 3 betting my utg bet, however I thought my stack size was perfect to shove and put him under real pressure.
Obv when you"ve got AA you can withstand the pressure. That one pot aside, I"ve played yet again probably my finest poker to date. Back to back 1 time?

Whilst this was going on Rupinder Bedi was busy getting himself knocked out on adjacent table. A table-mate informed the blogging team that Joeri Zandvliet opened to 24,000 from under-the-gun before Bedi shoved for around 200,000 from the small blind with jack-ten suited. Zandvliet called quickly with ace-king and the board missed both players to seal Bedi"s fate
-
Good luck to all of the APAT-ers, let"s take it down!!
