Title: London Alternates
Post by: TheWagoon on April 12, 2010, 18:11:10 PM: Hello friends, I see that they will be accepting alternates for the first 2 levels. I want to get in as an alt if I just get there early and say I want to be an alt and get within the first 5 what"s the chances of me getting in?

TBH, you don"t see a lot of bustouts in that time-frame. This is deepstack poker and barring two big hands getting overly frisky you just don"t see it.

It happens, but being number 5 probably isn"t going to get you in. No"s 1 and 2 stand the best chance but even those are long shots.

Likely to be more demand for alternates in London, but we normally lose a few players in the first couple of levels.

Do you know what time they will start the alternate list? Want to get there so I can get 1st on it.....

There is always a chance, I was busted out in Swansea during second blind level :) The other event I played in Bolton had around 4/5 alternates make it through I believe.
