Okay guys, looking forward to a good turnout tonight. We are still top of the league but the gap has been narrowed, so we need another good result to maintain our position. Solent players have a great chance to win the league and get free entry to a £250 entry tournament, so let"s see a big turnout. The South coast is flying high - Portsmouth in the FA Cup Final next week and Solent Poker Club top of the league.
New players on the team, make sure you register for the Division 2 game or your results won"t count.

A great win - Well done guys, especially Leigh Efford (TPTKMav) and Chris Nicholas (CHRISMN71), who made the final table and scored the points. This was a team result though - fielding 11 runners enabled us to get 4 into the last 16 and 2 on the FT. Andy Heath (each it) and Maggie Holt (RaggyMaggie) went deep and just missed the FT. Chris was playing his first APAT game and finished 5th, which was key in winning the game for us. Leigh continued his metronomic final-tabling, ending up HU with a massive deficit (120k v 10k? - something like that) against the winner of last year"s World Championship. Leigh won a couple a big hands, but was getting no cards at the crucial point. It didn"t matter with regard to the team result, cos that had already been won.
The 2nd & 3rd placed teams didn"t have many points before tonight, which means that we have extended our lead to 5 points. We have 10 points and the joint-second placed teams both have 5 points. Fan-Dabi-Dozi!
