Level 5 - 150/300

Folded to my button - I have c12,500
SB has c8,000
BB has c 6,000

I have  qc 8c and make it 850 - the two to my left are the same two who"ve been there from the start and open-raising from cut off and button has been pretty lucrative thus far

SB folds
BB calls - she seems reuctant, but that may be a false impression

Flop  qh tc 6d

BB shoves her chips in real fast! Throws them in so they spread out across the felt - 5,200 in total...

Its a strange move. Would she do this with big pairs? Possible. Depends on your read of her. Depends on her read of you. Probably fold

Judging by your read that she hasn"t been defending her blind much, then you must put her on a pretty strong hand, and as such you may well have kicker problems, and I would be folding. But it all depends on your read, after all you"ve been playing together for at leat a couple of hours.

She either flopped a draw or, more likely, top two and got over-excited rather than thinking about value.

No need to get frisky...easy fold.

i fold for the reason in bold above... also i might test the waters out with smaller raises pre if they are folding pre or check folding a lot of flops...

yeah this was a rubbish call by me - of course she had AQ and I was in serious trouble

the 8 which fell on the turn had her standing up in disgust and me sitting quietly to watch the Ace fall on the river...

I sighed and switched into shove/fold mode until my A9s ran into JJ

Your raise pre and hit the flop. Sure you have a poor kicker but the villian can easily have an ace 10 type hand or j9. Only hand I"m worried about is a set of 6s

And to be honest, without antes I"m not gonna get involved with this type of hand pre flop.

Just saw the outcome. IMO villan played her hand badly preflop but got paid post when she hit
