Ladies & Gentlemen Sunday 8th August 2010 is the kick off of League 2 Division 1 with match 1. If you haven't downloaded the new Betfair software, please do so as soon as you can. If you have to pick a new nickname please let me know what it is in the Liverpool thread.
Please make every effort to play in as many matches as you can and lets win this one.

What a disaster.... After reading in some of the chat during the first few minutes I noticed that some players hadn"t been able to start playing until a few minutes after 20:00. Somewhere on these pages is a discussion about the Betfair2 programme freezing and not allowing players to play properly. This happened to me several days ago when first downloaded but then stopped and appeared to sort itself out - until tonight.
I was on the same table as -Vanquisher- when he went out, not sure what time that was, but I wasn"t able to play another hand at the correct speed until 2235. It was at least 30 minutes. I was in 5th place when that happened and when I eventually was able to start playing again I was 22 with only 26 left in.
From having had a very good start and a good enjoyable game I was well and truly pissed off....
I will still be here again in 2 weeks time and will try some of the other online qualifiers that are on offer but Betfair need to sort out the problems that they are so obviously having with either the software or the server...

well played all - I don"t seem to have a problem with the software but the wee man was kicked off Betfair twice. In the end wee man went out 19th and I made the final table (short stack poker FTW) and was out 10th. To be honest we had too few people to beat the variance and paid the price.

Hey Scouse, Didnt even know you were at my table. Hope I didnt get in the way. I would have avoided you had I known. My fault. Things went ok last night for about the first hour. Then i went card dead and had a bad lag, then I just got pissed off. Oh well, well done Ger for the points..
