Noticed the remaining money in the prize pool after the seats are paid for is split between several people. Can future sats be altered so it goes to the seat bubbler only as previously?

I thought this looks good, 24 players with 4 seats up for grabs. Nice steady play should put me in with a chance.

What these sites don"t give though is advice about the worst thing about playing online... KIDS.

Two kids having WWIII in the next room is not good for playing poker. Needless to say I was away for while then played the first hand back like an idiot, went all in with  qh"s and got what I deserved.

Any way, it was good while it lasted. Roll on them getting back to school and early nights to bed again.

Don"t know why it was cancelled. There were 8 registered players, that would have given 2 seats. Would have been 9 players but Richard couldn"t register for it because I had, message received was "cannot register you as a player on your network has already registered"!  We are using two different computers and it doesn"t happen when we play other APAT events. Hopefully we"ll be ok Saturday as we have both won tickets.

Ahhhh I know why it was cancelled, Richard jinxed it because he couldn"t get in lol  ;D

Leigh - as there is no password on the Omaha tournament only Richard or I can register for it. Get the message that "another player has already registered on this network"!!!  such a pain.  >:(    League games and the satellites have caused us no problems in registering, so I don"t understand why the software won"t let us play the same tournament on games with no password. We"re using different computers but of course we"re using the same broadband network. Do you know what Betfairs view is on this. I know we"re not the only household using several computers on the same network and Betfair must be losing revenue and regular APAT members are not being able to play. Thanks

Presumably the new betfair site gives us a ticket which we then use to enter the tourney.
Perhaps we can use these tickets for another tourney (but I somehow doubt it).

Leigh did put a post in the forum to tell everybody about being issued with a ticket (think it was yesterday or the day before) thats how Richard and I saw that we had to register, so sorry guys you should have checked the forum. Hopefully you"ll be probably be able to use it in a future apat championship but one of the mods will have to confirm that.

right ok didnt get that post but surely if u enter a sattelite for the the tourney what do they think you want to use the ticket for if it is in to a specific tournament and not a general cash amount not having a go at anyone but ive had my fill with poker sites this week with pokerstars freezing my account and stilll holding on to my money and now this its been a bad week for the poker sites by the way if i play in the omaha i will be on tilt so thats one player you dont have to worry about lol  :) :) :P

Good game good game ...

6 hrs 40 online for 78 runners is pretty slow ... final table was pretty mental so could have easily lasted longer ... good practice for tomorrow night ... and my return to the Sunday Warm Up!

Only 4000 extra runners to negotiate ...

4 hours in, and 23 players still left in.

Does this structure seem slower than the old one, or is it just me ?

Very slow IMO Leigh. Stacks and levels are the same as far as I can see I think the key difference is simply the time you have to act which seems a lot longer than the old software.

Doubt anything can be done about that but there it is.

Well done to all the medallists.

Surely this doesn"t make a difference because the tournament clock is still running  ???

I"m thinking this leads to fewer hands and therefore fewer blinds and antes being posted, which means the time between getting short and getting desparate is longer, although I have no evidence for this

Structure was good, I only noticed towards the latter stages that it hadn"t become auto-shove/fold like most tournies and made it a proper game.  :)

Structure great ... can we persuade Betfair to start it earlier?

I think it finished at 2.40am ... final table was pretty quick all things considered.

IMO th structure was perfect, to be honest I got off to a terrible start and appeared to be short sacked for most of the tourney but scrambled to the final. Even with 3-6M I didn"t feel to pressured and picking up the blinds every mow and then enabled survival. All in all good job to betfair, software behaved well, just missing a timebank, a hasty decision 3 handed really cost me, but not real complaints!

Timeback obviously required - how long do we have to wait - could be a minute - could be a year!

I cannot remember the "hasty" hand - what did you have - how did you miss-play it?
