Sorry guys, tonights satellite will not be running due to a technical glitch with the poker software.

I have been assured that tomorrows will be fine though.

To make up for the troubles with the satellite last night, I can confirm that Betfair Poker will be putting some more added value into Saturdays event.

Aswell as 1st place winning a GUKPT seat, there will now be added value seats for 2nd-5th.

The players that finish 2nd-5th will win a seat into the APAT Amateur event in Luton on the 23rd / 24th of October 2010.

No problem with it not going ahead Leigh, as I was unable to register due to the stupid software once again showing disconnected despite other sites working correctly. Added value is great if the damn software works. Are they doing anything about this problem?

Had the same problem

When playing on other sites, Betfair does not work, if I close down the other sites then Betfair works. So basically i can only play on Betfair or other sites but not both

No, cos I assumed it was a general problem. I spent half of the last league game disconnected, but saw lots of comments from others during the game about the same issue.

I will mention it to the Betfair guys, but it may be a good idea to log it with support also.

When betfair changed to the new software i could not stay connected at all.I contacted betfair support and they told me to check microsoft for critical updates and to also check adobe flash was up to date.I did this and still had the same problem.I now have a new laptop and everything works fine.So was my old laptop the problem or betfairs new software,,who knows !!!!

Totally unimpressed...  So so often its a fook up with Betfair setup...  The last rebuy Wednesday game was also not a rebuy...  If Betfair cant get the game right, why would they be running a poker tournament for APAT?  That is twice in 1 week as well being that one game was cancelled because they never set it up.  Whats the point..!!!  Who is to blame this time?

I agree Andy, but, ignoring their incompetance because they are generous in other places is not my thing.  If you are going to do a job, do it properly or dont do it at all.  I can accept the odd mistake, but it happens way too much.

have to agree, the benefits from betfair are excellent but the software and helpdesk ( if you can call it that ) are absolutely useless, only on this site do i have problems , any other I can have 3/4 tables going but this one I"m lucky if i don"t get disconnected with one table playing

Hi Charles,

Just pm "tightend" to confirm which GUKPT you want to play.  He will organise entry for you.

Hi everyone,

I came 2nd in the omaha event. Am I entitled to a medal. If so, how do I claim it?

Get it at Luton or for advice on a speedy delivery you could ask Tony Trippier ;D

Yeah...but it"s a second and only online...so it"s not like a "real" medal now is it?  ;D

Well it was my first event, and so my first medal. So I"ll take it!

I won"t be at Luton. So how do I contact this Tony?

On the off chance you were looking for a straight answer... :P

Online medals are reserved for main events I"m afraid. The added value in the omaha events is a seat in a pro live event for the winner, plus the ranking points.

Or if I"m wrong I"m owed a medal and didn"t realise... 8)

As far as I am aware, you are wrong. I will let Leigh confirm though :)

Delivery details requests will be going out shortly for the latest batch of winners.

Both main event and Omaha top 3 get medals.

If you want to make my life easier, just pm me your address if you think you are owed a medal this season (I do know who you are anyway  ;) )
