Game 5 of Nottingham"s bid to win successive promotions is at 8pm on Sunday 10th October on Betfair.
Duncan Hodgkins (duncan667) & Bal Powar (Shozboyx) put in brilliant performances yet again to make the final table but, sadly, no team points were forthcoming.
Sunderland stormed to a great win and 3pts. Leeds took second spot from South London in third.
This means we drop to 2nd in the league on 6pts with Leeds leapfrogging us by 1pt. Luton are in 3rd with Sunderland 4th - both on 5pts.
Sunderland and Luton are attracting massive numbers of players to these games and it"s hard to imagine them not finishing in the top three. This means we"re effectively battling Leeds for the final promotion spot - and they"re now ahead AND got more runners last time.
So, it"s more important than ever that as many people as possible play. We can"t (and don"t want to) rely on a last ditch miracle like last season!
Please mention this to your poker-playing friends and try to get them to sign-up and play.
