I went looking for this fortnightly tourney this evening ... and eventually found out it"s not for another week  >:(  The remaining dates appear to be: 31 Oct, 14 Nov, 5 Dec, 19 Dec, 2 Jan.  Schedule: http://www.apat.com/forum/index.php?topic=5202.0

I won"t be able to make games 6 or 9, I"m afraid.  Next Sunday evening, I"ll be at Wembley supporting my 49ers.

Game 6 of Nottingham"s bid to win successive promotions is at 8pm on Sunday 31st October on Betfair.

Simon Goodman did brilliantly last time out to salvage a point, but we"re now joint third with our competition getting more players. So we need a really good turnout this time to maximise our points potential and get our challenge for top flight status back on-track!

As ever, if you have any poker-playing friends that you think might play - get "em signed up! Don"t forget: 1 Betfair account sign-up, 2 Join APAT forum, 3 Post Betfair Alias & real name on Notts member sign-up thread - simples!

If we don"t increase our player numbers we"re in real danger of missing out on promotion.

gutted :( lost two big hands and went all in pre flop against team mate and another caller.I had chance to knock a few out but didnt and folded as i knew who my team mates were. Is it everyman for themselves or a team game?

Unlucky Simon.

It"s a team game obviously but should be played as if it were every man for himself. I think most teams try to avoid confrontations with team mates though unless they have a massive hand.

I try to make sure that we know who"s in our team, then you can make the decisions as you see fit.

Scoring position at 4th break. Gina needs to finish above the Dublin & Leeds players (iriskzim & crakthenu) to secure 1 point. If the 2 Sunderland players are out next in 7th & 6th as well, she gets 2 points for us.

Gina does it again!

She knocks out 2 players with her JJ v AK v 9 10. She has almost half the chips in play.

The 2nd point is no longer a possibility as she knocked a non-Sunderland player out. However it was crakthenu, the Leeds player which means to secure 1 point for us, she just needs to finish higher than iriskzim of Dublin. On the downside, he just happens to be Mark Lassmann, a very good player!

What a player! Gina knocks out Mark Lassmann to secure the 1 point for Notts. A brilliant performance! She"s going for the win now with 3 left. Luton have the 3pts & Sunderland take the 2pts.
