4 - TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF?
well, i am 27, live in a small town called Yarm, just outside Middlesbrough up in the North East. I work at tesco full time, glamorous i know :p I play cricket and occasionally football, when my dodgy knees allow me to!
5 - WHAT IS YOUR POKER BACKGROUND?
Starting playing in a pub about 5 years ago i think now, won the first time i played and have been hooked ever since.
6 - WHAT IS YOUR PLAYING STYLE?
Hmmm. Well i used to be a fairly tight player, but my game has definately evolved and i am now Aggressive. Very Aggressive.
7 - WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE POKER PLAYER AND WHY?
It has to be Gus Hansen. The man is a genius, impossible to put a read on. His book "Every hand revealed" is a must read, gives you a great insight into his thought patterns and why he does certain things.
8 - WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE ONLINE POKER SITE AND WHAT IS YOUR POKER ID THERE?
I dont really have a favourite, but whereever i play i am Fatcatstu
9 - WHAT ARE YOUR POKER ACHIEVEMENTS?
Best one has to be becoming APAT European Amateur Champion, at Luton last year. Apart from that i binked 2nd out of 5000 people in a $11 tourny on Stars for a $5k scoop which was also nice!
10 - WHAT DO YOU DISLIKE ABOUT LIVE POKER CURRENTLY, THAT YOU WOULD CHANGE?
I dunno if there is anything about live poker i particularly dislike really.
11 - HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT APAT?
My good friend Phil "TC" Tomkinson came to one a while ago and kept banging on about how good it was, so i got involved with him, played the UK championships and cashed last year and never looked back!
12 -WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT APAT TOURNAMENTS, STANDARD OF PLAY AND STRUCTURE?
I love the structure, absolutely love it. Such great value for money, and a cracking way to spend a weekend with some top people. The standard of play is generally decent, though as always there is a few terrible players that slip through the net :p
13 - HAVE YOU PLAYED AT AN APAT LIVE EVENT AND IF SO, WHAT WAS MOST MEMORABLE ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE?
Erm have played a few. Most memorable is pretty obviously winning one last year.
14 - WHAT ARE YOUR MAIN INTERESTS OUTSIDE OF POKER?
Cricket really, play every weekend over the summer, am at a loss on sundays when the season has ended!
15 - WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE BOOK OR FILM?
Film - Wedding crashers. possibly the funniest film ever
Book - The lord of the rings trilogy.
