I just posted something similar on Blonde...
I might be speaking too soon, but I have procured one of these bad boys:
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Nevs4U (http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Nevs4U)
Total outlay including postage to Germany comes to about 120 GBP. His postage to the UK is very cheap too.
I will let u know how good it is when it turns up, but on inspecting the advert these go for considerably more in the UK. These are getting good ratings on his feedback too...
You can get lower models from Germany for much cheaper. Just search for "Poker Tisch" in European Union. It seems they aren"t having the poker (price) boom that the UK pub industry has sparked back home...
I got the top of the range one for 90 quid with heavy metal foot rail etc
Should go nicely in my new bar/poker room/den :-)

I have to say they look class. My mate got one which is exactly the same as the lower price one and he paid a couple of hundred.
Let us know what it is like in the flesh (so to speak) when it comes.

very classy ;D
....now if only i had the room :(
-
i know the feeling :-[

Can anyone translate the German for me or post on here on whether or not the legs are detachable on any of these models? I can store table top and legs seperately but prob not as an All-In-One unit.
-
yeah I will translate for you:
ITS TO CHEAP ! MUG - BUY IT SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR CASH.
I hope that helped - lol

Its cheap compared to the UK as the Germans, although being a growth area, aren"t having anywhere near as much of a boom in the live game. In the UK all clubs and bars are jumping on the bandwagon. This is driving the prices up to an unrealistic price.
Anyway. Mine comes today, so I"ll tell u if I have a bargain or not...

I think you"ll find that what you have is a £90 poker table... serviceable, but not overly sturdy, from the photo the bases of the pedestals look a bit on the narrow side for the width of the table.
Again from the photo; it looks like it is has a raised "racetrack" ie. it sits on top of the playing surface rather than being flush with it. This makes pushing you stack "all-in", and rakeing in and stacking a big pot, rather awkward... I actually wouldn"t have a(nother) table with a racetrack at all, they are pretty buy not at all practical.
BTW, I used to make "quality" poker tables and I can assure that there is more than £90 in materials in a really good table, never mind the labour!
This is the one I kept for myself...

Looks like you"ve got a bit of a slope on that one though Rio ... ;)
-
It"s not the slope I"m worried about. How about the poor squashed cat!
-
Labour??? What labour?? When its made in China u don"t have to factor it in do u???
Nah. Dunno where this was made, but its sturdier than alot that I have played in casinos on. It has bounce, but not too much. I"ve payed on some tables recently that were like matresses..
Anyway...it arrived today...
Er...bargain...the only thing I am disappointed with is that the cup holders aren"t quite deep enough for my liking...
-
You prefer a larger cup size?
-
Groan....mods on high alert please!

Watching this one closely Des, watching it closely.......

120 quid including postage. I have the one with the footrail base. Just bought a load of "Herman" chairs from IKEA. Currently spending my time putting them all together (lots of spare allen keys for sale :-) )
Table is easy to put together. It is heavy.
I will post piccies once all complete.
I have e-mailed the bloke and he will only only send to mainland europe unfortunately....organise own courier?
