OK, I appear to be pulling myself out of my horrific recent run. It seems things are clicking back into place after an absence from the felt (virtual) and I have strung together some dominant displays in MTT"s. I have found that I get good results in the Stars $109 EPT sats, so tend to play these where possible and trade in for W$.
However, I have dropped the baton at the last a few times and bubbled. Then this hand happened with 9 runners remaining and 5 getting tickets to the $650 (all have cashed for about $100):

A bit of history in this. Luca has re-raised me most of the time I have raised from the button. Alot of the time I respected his re-raise, as I was at it with hands like AJ/A10. However a couple of times I have gone back over the top to make him fold. He is also very fortunate to still be in after I caught him re-raising with A4 to my A9. He rivered a 4 when all in pre-flop...
So what do u do with your pocket here???
-
Sorry this should be on the hand analysis child board..
-
what have you got or are we making an annette_15 type decision? (She"d push all-in)
or is my PC just not displaying your cards?
-
With 5 left in, the average chip stack would be 46,500, so I would not have opened the pot in the first place unless it was a monster and even then I would have folded to the re-raise. The risk-reward factor does not merit getting involved in this hand, even with pocket aces. BTW, what did you have?
-
With no hole cards, I"d fold. If I was very brave, I"d shove all-in.
-
From the way the betting"s gone and from my note"s on Lee"s play... I"d put him on pocket 6"s.
(Daniel Negreanu taught me how to do this!)

I don"t have notes on either player but I reckon you"re holding 88 here and facing a higher pocket pair.
With two overcards you"re 50/50 at best. If you decide to play, you"re gonna have to put the decision onto him for all his chips by pushing all in over the top pre-flop or be prepared for him pushing the other 60% of his chips in on the flop (which is likely to bring an over card). If I think I"m racing or drawing to 2 outs that close to a big prize, I"d fold.
But then, I"m a donk!!!
-
and I"d also put LucaYepa on an overpair... but probably no bigger than 77.
-
I reckon he"s got the 6s 6d .
I think you"re right about LucaYepa - I"d even put him on exactly the same suits as well.
;D
-
lee pushes all in
luca calls with 4s 5s
;D ;D ;D
-
No, I definitely think me and Rio are right with this one.
;D
-
Well, I assume he has two live cards? :-\ What does Lee push with ... ?
LucaYep now added to my fishing list! ;D

Daniel [Neg] never taught me to work out the suits pre-flop... I"m impressed!! :o

It was Alan [Cunningham] who taught me that one... ;D
