Hopefully it will be in a superb city, possibly the best in England, celebrating its 800th Birthday, also the capital of culture, and possibly has the finest georgian and neo classical architecture in Europe. Masses of hotels, and B&B"s.....And of course home to the most successful football team in the world.....

Fingers crossed for Liverpool. for me..... 3 Casinos.. 2 of which are quite big and DDA compliant........

Good stuff,,,, Look forward to the announcement....

Tikay" did you know Liverpool city's Lime Street station now stands at the end of the world's first passenger railway line.

The original terminus to the line built by George Stephenson was at Crown Street, in the line's early days trains would be pulled up and down from Edge Hill by rope.

"Yes Des"

"No Des"

"Err, but they"ll LOVE it Des"

Sigh.

Gotta go guys. His APAT-Ness has spoketh.

"choo choos? What? "choo choos"? WHAT?

Excuse me, but trains are serious things.

You are honoured with APAT's first Yellow Card.

Now behave.

My sincerest apologies tikay.

Perhaps you should pay a visit to Haworth, we have some great little choo, sorry, steam trains running along the worth valley line. Some even have a bar serving some of Taylors finest ales.

Better idea, we should organise a home game on one of these trains, I"ll even get hold of a residents rail pass for you tikay (Ian taps the side of his nose) so that you don"t have to pay tourist rates.

I"m sure I could interest 5 or 6 local APAT members.

The wind has changed, I woke with a feeling of anticipation today, thinking, today is the day Des is going to give us the news.

Sadly it look likes no news... Ah well another day waiting.....The longer the period of anticipation the greater the excitement when it gets here.

Is it possible to have 2 tourneys in the same weekend?

They have to publish 1 month before the tournament, can the European and World be over the 3 days in August.

Saturday European, play down to final table
Sunday World, play down to final table
Monday European final (afternoon 12.00)
Monday World final (evening 6.00)

I know it sounds daft but is it possible?     ???

COME ON DES  ;D

Ooooh...an APAT Event over 3 days....me likee that idea.

Plenty of seats for those who couldn"t get in before, without the overcrowding etc of some others.

Weekend away regardless...OK, I"m in! Click-fest me up!

Des...don"t suppose you could do the World Final in Vegas over 14th - 21st July?.....I"m there anyway, no need to pay my airfare. ;D
