Scottish "B" team Captain Louis Manson is currently deep in the Black Belt Poker London event.
I think he is the only APAT player left from the few that started this.

Mark "English Amateur Champion" Briggs has made the final table of the DTD Monthly Deepstack aswell.

... a weird day thus far ... doubled up early with JJ vs AK ... but then had to fold hands twice due to flat calls and missed flops ... if the flops were reversed then hay time ...
Playing short a tough grind by I got an epic blind on blind double up with 55 in the BB vs the 75 shove ... 5 on the flop ...
Then lucky enough to wake up with AA vs A6s and AA vs KJo ... since then no show downs and pleasing mini pair folds ... which were in a lot of trouble vs over pairs ...
Antes are suitable large to make playing with 10BB decent fun ... play resumes at 8.20pm ...

Tighty"s take on Mark"s exit
Mark Briggs shoves 10-10 on the button. Adam Daniel then proceeds to indulged in the least classy display I have seen at a poker table for some time
He begins dancing, exaggerated disco style, hands moving in a horizontal circular motion in front of him,
says "that"s handy then", says "I"m all in as well then"
He has K-K
As the board is dealt, 8 high, King on the turn he is disco dancing right next to Mark, with no acknowledgement at all of the other players sensibilities
Anyway Mark Briggs is out 5th winning £4,557
Mark walks away refusing to shake Mr Daniel"s hand
-
well played mark .............i would have walked away as well..........nice cash

Cheers guys ... an annoying way to go ... it was a classic tale of two"s with everything on the final table ... I very nearly shoved K2 ... which would have won vs A8 ... but I waited to win A8 vs A6 in the blinds setting up the epic AQ into KK hand ...
No dancing from Peter Wigglesworthm(KK) ... and no Ace spike for me ... no real scope to stay and watch the end ... early start tomorrow ... would have fancied it had my ace had a kinder match up ...
Lots to ponder ... at times I folded marginal scenarios when I could have shoved ... but lots of example of players who thought they had marginal holdings who were totally crushed.
The event was very well hosted by Neil Channing and company ... maybe move my cash play to Black Belt ... and go for some of their Vegas freerolls etc ...
Not sure what poker is next ... now 5 tournaments in a row that I have cashed ... three final tables in a row at face to face events ...
I think there is a £750 PKR event coming up at Fox Poker ... must be worth a look!
