with just over a week to go, still lots of seat available, are DTD still confident this"ll sell out?

I"m playing the Friday. Be interesting to see if it does sell out. I imagine lots of seats will go closer to the event.

I"m playing Monday, just hitting up the Golden chip sats this week to pay for it. I wouldn"t be surprised if re-entry suddenly appeared if it was looking likely they were going to miss.

away at the weekend of Day2 and Day3, and unlikely as it is that this would be a clash for me, figure best not to enter :(

well for some bizarre reason they have NO sats this week for it. I find that pretty amazing considering they have so many seats to fill! So I will have to buy in direct.

Yeah, last one was last night. Thought it was rather odd, not having satellites the week before, when most people are likely to want to play them! I was planning on doing so.

I"m almost relieved there are no sats left to play - my significant losses and exit hands would generate sufficient 50ps to keep the NHS afloat

Wow, no sats this week, really.  That"s mad isn"t it, esp as you state, no where near filled up.

Direct it is then.  Really hope it is a sell out, the club so deserves it to be a huge success.

anyone had any thoughts of what stack size you should be aiming for, for day2?

I was thinking around 100k would be average?

so average stack c34,000, blinds at 800/1600/200
The 7,000 chip stack is going to have to be a real shortstack ninja

Played yesterday, had around 20k with 20mins to go before the end of the day, so wanted to try to be above avg going into Day 2, to make it "worth while", could have fold to Day 2.

A8, vs AJ, made sure I wasn"t going to trouble DTD this weekend!

Good luck to all those playing tonight.

Doubled-up with 3-3 to go to 15k, then made a call with A-K vs Q-Q to move to 35k with 2 levels left.  5 hands after returning I raise on the button with J-J, new guy shoves and I call and for the first time all night I have a monster lead against 5-5.....until he hits his 2-outer on the turn to win a 42k pot !!
I lasted until the last hand of the night where I shoved 3-3 again and it was no good.
GL all tonight and the rest of the week.

Only got 27K bad times.
I can"t play Saturday. Even worse times  :"(

If anyone else makes Saturday can they put me all in every hand please? I can make Sunday  ;D

I"m still chip leader after playing 1a, but expect that will change before Saturday.  Don"t really feel like I played much poker; just woke up with big hands in good spots and otherwise avoided tricky situations.  Massive double up in last level, all in pre with AA v AKs against the other table big stack, propelled me to six figures.
