SSPC Summer Team Championships 2011
Saturday 6th August. Midday to 2am ish...
The Cock Inn, Hanwood Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
A 6-a-SIDE TEAM EVENT WITH A £550 ENGLISH DEEPSTACK CHAMPIONSHIP II ENTRY FOR THE WINNING TEAM AND OVERALL INDIVIDUAL WINNER.
COST OF ENTRY IS £180 PER TEAM ON A FIRST-COME-FIRST-SERVED BASIS.
SO IF YOU WANT TO PUT A TEAM TOGETHER, PLEASE REPLY TO THIS THREAD ASAP AS WE ARE LIMITED TO A MAXIMUM OF 10 TEAMS.

Following on from the success of the first Team Challenge last July which saw the BCPC take the spoils and the second Team Challenge hosted by Brian Yates and the BCPC in March which was won by the LPPL and SSPC.
Team Challenge (III) is upon us and it is the turn of The SSPC to host the event.
There are 10 teams in this event, each of 6 players.
Each player will play 2 SNG"s throughout the day.
1 x No Limit Texas Hold"m and
1 x Pot Limit Omaha
with 1 player from each team on each of 6 (10-man) tables.
There will be points awarded on each table for the top 5 finishers. 5th = 1pt, 4th= 2pts, 3rd= 4pts, 2nd= 7pts with 10pts going to the winner of EACH table.
There will then be a "best of three", Short Stack, Turbo, Heads Up round.
This will be played over three periods with twenty players taking part in each period.
This should give everybody the chance to have a little rest and refreshment whilst cheering on their team mates....
Points will be awarded in each match at the rate of 1pt per game.
The Championships will conclude with a 60 man multi-table NLH tournament.
Points will be awarded according to finishing position. i.e. first out = 1pt, winner = 60pts.
The team with the most accumulated points from all games at the end of the tournament will be declared the winners and will receive one of the £550 English Deepstack seats.
The team in second place will win a seat in the DTD monthly £336 Deepstack
The individual with the most accumulated points from all games at the end of the tournament will be declared the individual winner and will receive the second £550 English Deepstack seats.
The individuals in second and 3rd place will win a seat in the GUKPT Goliath £100,000 guaranteed.
