Nice.

I had an odd one on Monday. Late in tournament AK v QQ - AIPF. TTTT2 - he needed an A on the River to split, so my A-high took it. At least he can tell the story about how he had TTTT and lost.

Can you win a high-hand bet if you lose the hand? On Tuesday, a FH AAAxx was beaten by a Straight Flush, but the winner hadn"t joined the high-hand side-bet. We decided the FH could take the high-hand pot. Luckily (?) it was resolved as it was quickly followed by AAAA9 and then AAAAT, all within half-an-hour. It was a strange night.

Playing cash last night, two players duke it out down to the river, the board reads AQAAQ, First to act bets half the pot, and the other guy folds?  ??? Could you fold here?

Heard it before but still great. He runs like Tod!

As opposed to me . Tournament last night, playing really well without any cards (as per the last fecking 4 months). Down to last 20. Top 12 paid. 15 bbs left. Big stack on the button, me in the BB. Pocket Kings, happy days! Folded round to button. He raises. I shove, he insta-calls with his aces. I toss laptop off sofa, pour myself a large glass of wine and watch telly instead. . I just love poker.  :)

Depends on the action previous to the river.

You know there is a a hand, played up to the turn... 2 players in the hand...  Player A is winning at this point..   But..  The true fact about this hand is....  No matter what river card comes...  Player A CANNOT win the hand..

The board shows.... (rainbow)

3 4 3 4 x

Player A is holding 7 2 off...

What is Player B holding...???

He"s holding 5-6, as others have said but of course player A can win. Two words...

ALL-IN!

No point playing 7-2 off and not shoving on that board!  ;)
