Hi all,

Just wanted to say thank you for all your kind comments.
Final table was a bit crazy to say the least, and I did get more than my fair share of breaks.
Was a pleasure meeting you all, hope to see you again in Dublin if I manage to survive the "clickfest".

Cheers

Just like to say a big thank you to everyone in the APAT for organising a fantastic weekend, and a big thanks to all the staff at the Gala for looking after us.
A great finish for myself in 7th at my first national event, looking forward to the next one already.
Well done to Jason on a great final table performance.

Breaks, you had a few and perhaps not too few to mention ;) but you thoroughly deserved your win. Been going over the final table in my mind (or whats left of it :-\) and have a feeling you put us all out!! certainly the final 6.
Well done m8, Guess your wife will believe you now that she has seen the trophy!

Thanks to everyone for their kind comments.  The players make APAT the organisation it is.

Photos from day two have now been posted. A video summary of the event will appear later this week.

Thanks to Des & Son, Tighty & TJ for another great weekend and to the Maybury staff for looking after us so well (my early exit allowed a timely berth at the buffet trough - apologies if I was the cause of the food running out!).

Well done Jason on a great victory and to Glenn for grinding his short-stack to 2nd place. Simon Auckland - wow! Likewise Mr Eccles - very well done too.

Finally thanks to everyone who I shared a Guinness with over the weekend for helping to make it a memorable few days.

Unless anyone can confirm any different i think i actually finished 24th not 25th!!!  ;D

Was just reading through the threads and there was only 22 players for day 2. As Duke was the last person knocked out on day 1 and i was knocked out the hand before him, by my reckoning that makes me 24th?!?  ???

Feel free to burst my bubble if you know any different  :-\

A player on my table also went out on the last hand at exactly the same time as the Duke.... might explain things?
