Just to add another accommodation option to the list - The Stuart Hotel opened last year (I think) and I stayed there last time I ventured to Luton.  It"s just a few minutes walk from the casino, in a converted office block over the other side of the main road from Days/Icon and is available at around £45 per night.

Thanks...but it"s currently £90pn for a Double Room [or £75 for a Single] on Laterooms over our dates which is why I didn"t include it.

However, alternative booking sites may have it cheaper.

Have just booked Premier Inn Luton Centre for £35 on the Saturday night (non flexible) but also noticed that it"s only £56 (flexible). Prices may have come down since.

TripAdvisor bods have slagged it off no end. I almost changed from Hotel Residence to Stuart, but then saw the reviews and stuck with my first choice.

I will be arriving at the salubrious Travelodge Friday evening for 3 nights for 16p Dai Boot is staying sat and sun for 12p

We argued over whether he was paying too much!!

Seriously don"t remember how much just very cheap and close to motorway, stayed before for Apat team championship 2011
