Liam Alcock calls the all in shove of Alan Ellis for 11,700

Liam has 6d 6s
Alan has Ks Qh

Alan shakes his head at the Jh 8c 3h flop.

But the Qc turn and Jd river means he gets the double to around 23k.

Shirley Cole, in the small blind, moves all in for 8.8k
Bashir Ahmed in the big blind makes the call and shows Kh 3d

Shirley has Ac Js and is at risk.

7d 5s Ah puts Shirley ahead

10s 4c on the river and turn mean Shirley wins the pot and is now on around 20k

Martin Wilson is busted when his sizeable river shove, on a 10c Ks 9c 5h Jd board, turned out to be only Ace high meaning that John Rees" call with 10h 8d is good and he takes a huge pot!

John Rees has raised and Tristan Chaplin moves all in for around 30k.

John says "I think you have the better hand but I have to call"

John has Ac Qc
Tristan has Ad Ah "I could do with this one holding up..."

Jd 9h 3c 5s 10s and it does, Tristan doubles up to around 60k.

Robert Quinn isn"t so lucky and is out of the tournament.

As is Ken McBride.

Last five hands announced, the clock is paused and the remaining 37 players will play 5 more hands before the end of the day - double or bust time...?

Liam Alcock busts right before the last five hands!

And Lukman Islam takes a chunk off John Rees when his pocket Jacks held up and got him the double vs John"s pocket 3"s.
Lukman had aroun 80k at the beginning of the hand.

Jeffrey Hemmerman and Dave Kingswell at it again when Dave calls Jeffrey"s all in with Jh Jc

Only to see Jeffrey turn over Qc Qs

4c 8c 7c 3c Kd and Jeffrey"s Qc flush beats Dave"s Jc flush.

Jeffrey now on around 45k

In the final hand of the night for their table, Dave Kingswell gets some chips back and knocks out Rhys Bullock.

Well, what a way to end the day...

2s Qd Qh 8h 6s on the board, around 35k in the middle already and John Rees has moved all in for around 30k

Marc Morris is deep in the tank and John is off on "talk" mode.

He talks, Marc thinks...Marc thinks some more, John talks some more...

Eventually, Marc flips in a chip to make the call.

John"s cards are shown and he has Jh 10h

Marc has As Kd and wins the hand!!

There isn"t much in it, chip wise, but, John is out!

Marc has an impressive stack to take through to tomorrow.
