Holiday Inn Express Walsall
« on: October 26, 2007, 14:52:13 PM »
So who else booked this hotel for the Walsall game?

I did nearly 3 weeks ago and now the manager has just called to say the Hotel will not be finished in time   ::)

Back to the drawing board.
How can you call that.... you should have bet more...... I was all-in...... well you should have had more to bet.

I think, after a quick shufty at the internet, that the Quality Inn and Premier Travel Inn are both full for Saturday night.

Travelodge Walsall has a double for £50.

A little further away but pennies in a cab. The LPM contingent are in there.

Thx for the info but the chap from the Holiday Inn has called back and he has managed to get me a room at the Village Hotel.

Wasn"t happy about the late notice regarding my original booking but they have done well in sorting it out.

Cheers

Thanks for this -- I booked Holiday Inn Via Active Hotels and they never told me -- I rang HInn and they open on 9th plus they could do nothing about my booking -- however am now in Village -- thanks again I would have been ignorant.

ps there are still rooms in the village

Glad you noticed this then duke

Just hope anyone else who may have booked this hotel through other websites notice as well. It"s not going to be a good start to the weekend if you turn up to your booked hotel and it"s not built yet  :(
