... bit gutted ... could have easily gone all in pre-flop ... though to be honest I think he might well have called ...

Blinds 300/600 ante 60.

Early postion raise to 2400 ... I flat call with JJ ... flop is 842 ...

My opponent puts in continuation bet or so it seems ... time to kill this ... or so I think ... they turn 88 ... so drawing very thin ... and of course I miss.

270th of 1370 ... and still miles (top 150) of the money ... mmm ...

Overall I think I push pre-flop ... I thought that I got the flop I wanted ... mmm ...

Oddly about three hands later my conqueror lost a very similar pot AA vs QQ ... with Q spiked ... having just lost with trip Jacks higher kicker ... the hand before ...

Definately a chance gone ... to make some money ... but getting closer ... so to bed happy I think!?!

Thanks for the railing support ...

... $525k ... well I would have still would have been a long way from that ...

I think I would have gone to 42nd with a double up there ... on target for $8,750 ... (best previous win $8,125)

It was starting to feel that I might be trying to limp to $2,750 ... so I tried to be a bit tricky and paid the price ... some other time you go all in and those to act after you have QQ,KK,AA ... that is hugely minimal though ... there are lots of low flops I get a lot of chips and so on ... another J would have been nice ... ahh!

My game is coming together ... slowly ... I would have liked to have played that hand face to face ...

... but in the end it is an error ... so I have to go to WORK tomorrow ... sigh!

... stack sizes ... I had 19,000 ish ... he had more ... so it should be an all-in from me ... make him decide ... about 35k I think ...

Just before I had gone all in with KK ... (not called) had been active ... he might have called ... there were others to act after but in the end that is just thinking too hard ... (or too weak) ...

What do you think?

Just a simple all in pre-flop?

Nah probs too deep to shove but u could 3 bet.

Thing is if u shove on the flop your only getting called if your beat unless he decides 99/10 10 is good

... yeh tricky spot ... I think given what had been happening at table he would have called a raise to 7200 ...(or maybe an all in for a perceived race) ... hard to see me folding to a re-raise anyway ... so I think I should have gone all in ... (though again hating the idea of racing vs AK or AQ)

In the end he has about the only hand (that he could have) that kills me ... (or QQ,KK,AA ... which felt unlikely ...)

Over pair vs top set is tricky stuff ... but I think there were ways to escape and have a stab at the money ...

... but I am pretty sure next time up I run into QQ,KK or AA ... one of those odd times when would have been better to have half the chips to make the decision easier.

I guess the obvious question is what was I going to do with an A,K,Q on the board ... give it away?

... hilariously first hand of the day I watch on the final table is JJ vs 88 ...

Large stack raises with JJ ... short stack pushes all in with 88 ... flop is 925 ... now where was that 6.5 hours ago? My "master plan" just might have worked!

The JJ holds up ... 7 left ...

Blinds just up to 10000/20000 with a 2000 Ante ... Average stack is 978k so a lot of play left in this ...

Looking forward to next big event!

... final table is killing me ...

Massive pot to emlimate 7th place ...

10000/20000 Ante 2000

Initial raise to 48,000 early position ...

Re-raise to 200,000 ... is flat called ... surely that is screaming a BIG hand ...

Pot now 442,000 ... K32 flop ...

Mystery bet of 72,000 ...

Opponent goes all in ... mystery better calls shows AA ... fair ... vs 55 (OMG) ...

Pot = 1.652m!

7th place takes $75k!

... down to the last three now ...

Somehow the two chip leaders get all their chips in (80 and 120 times the BB) for a classic 33 vs AJ (suited) race ... the three"s hold up!

Prizes $525k, $275k, $200k ...

... ok course I missed the last hand!!! Someone fill me in ...

Ragen wins ... he eliminated 3rd place with Nut Flush draw plus high cards which he hit vs Straight draw.

Ragen was the winner of the 33 hand ... so fair play to the Treyes ...

WORK!

It was a raising war - opp to 40k, Ragen to 92k, opp to 250k, Ragen to 650k, opp All In for 250k, Ragen calls with AJo , opp shows TT.

Board runs KKrag, A, rag.

V sweet result Ragen!

... having lost the either key with AJ that is a SAVAGE blow for $250k ...

Pretty enthused by the event ...

Time to get my shades on and play live ...

Hand wise - I think that is a kin to a three day event ...

When is the next big online stuff?
