Due to the nature of tournament Poker, end of day timings are estimated.

PRIZES

1st - A prize of £3,000 - Engraved Irish Championship Cup - Gold Medal - GUKPT Main Event Seat - 18 ranking points - Significant Media Exposure.

The GUKPT Main Event Seat comprises a paid entry to a Grosvenor UK Poker Tour main event being played later this year.  The GUKPT entry is worth approximately £1,060.

Ranking points count towards the player of the year first prize of an expenses paid entry to a GUKPT Main Event.

2nd - £1,850 - Silver Medal - 17 ranking points.

3rd - £1,000 - Bronze Medal - 16 ranking points.

4th to 9th - £600 each - 10 to 15 ranking points.

10th to 15th - £300 each - 4 to 9 ranking points.

16th to 18th - 1 to 3 ranking points

Alternates will be allowed the opportunity to take part during the first two levels.

An additional prize of £75 will be created as a result of each alternate who is allowed to enter.  This money will be awarded to the players finishing directly outside the above prize pool, so if for example 4 alternates take part in the event, then finishing positions from 16th to 19th will each win back their buy in of £75.

The alternates will be chosen from the APAT controlled reserve list started at the venue at 12.30pm on the first day of play.  This may enable a small number of additional members to participate in an APAT event.

Please note, if players have not turned up to play by the end of level three, their chips will be removed from play.

Under our terms & conditions, APAT will not support deal making.  This is a unique National Championship event and the onus is on every player to try their utmost to win it outright.

Please note that all entrance fees will be paid out in prize money.  APAT will not retain any fee for running this event for our members.

The prize fund outlined above is subject to 150 paid entries at £75.00 per player.  Please note the prize fund will be paid out in Euros in Dublin.

A free buffet will be laid on for players on Saturday and Sunday.
