hope you are not kicking me lol lost 8 lives already, its sooooo frustrating when someone who has not a clue they won the pot and you have to push it there way, i wish that they had a verbal decloration rule and say what there hand is, if they get it wrong then 2/3 of the pot goes to the loser, its only fair imo(it happened to me earlier, someone made a straight when they thought they had ace high, 4 barrel bets and calls with a declared ace high, i had 2 pair, why call if they thought they were beat, i wanted blood, aaarrrrggghhh)

its annoying i know
3rd place £25 double chance freezeout grosvenor yarmouth
4th place £35 triple chance freezeout norwich poker club
1st place £5 rebuy palace casino yarmouth
1st place £10 freezeout geldeston's spieler

It"s been said many a time - you want them in the pot - you just don"t want them to fill.

Get em in ahead it"s all you can do - marathon not sprint.

is that enough of annoying cliches  ;D ;D ;D

oh and kicking the cat is good therapy

lol... i"d take the cat with you next time!

Other then that the best place to vent ya anger is at the table.. up the agression, make it look like your on tilt and call some hands that u wldn"t normally call and you"ll find that your ahead most of the time! Specially the shoves.

Not only do you need a place to vent anger, you also need to put £5 in a charity box by way of recompence for telling bad beat stories.

If you have 6-7 hours to spare I will tell you mine, all part of the game we love soooooooooooooo much

couple of things.....

the raise with 88 against 4 limper is perfectly sound.... but not sure about the 7xBB thing. you"re just as likely to get a caller here as if you raised to 3 or 4 x BB..... personally, even with 20BBs behind, I tend to shove here and take the limps out. (you are open shoving the flop anyway, so why not make the move now?)

once you shove the flop with 88 and get called by AJ - you must have been rubbing your hands with glee. You got exactly the call you wanted - can"t complain about it being an awful call when she sucks out. you either want the call or you don"t. (same with the K3 against your AA).

Personally I never ever complain about my bad beats (sometimes)

but yes, if you are feeling angry and need to vent anger on a forum after some bad beats then you are playing the wrong game my friend.
