to be honest with you i only asked as i think the structure is crackable but the players are not, i would rather play strong opponents as i can read what they are up to rather than a weak player who calls your flop, turn and river bet with pocket deuces when there is a four flush and poss straight and i was representing it. the structure is fast(blinds go up every 10 minutes) and the starting stack it 2k, after the third level the blinds are 150-300 so if you have not found a good spot you are in hot water in 30 minutes.

2k starting stack, 10min blinds, and they skip the 75/150 level?!?!?!?!?!?!  Ans = do not play this tourney...ever!!!  As for how to beat it if u do decide to play...shove lots and get lucky - the donks prob have the right idea.  Doesnt matter how good a player u r w/ tht structure.  I would never pay money to enter tht!

If it"s as bad as you say it is, and the people will call you down with anything and everything, and the structure prevents you playing it like a nit, then just don"t play. May as well spend your buy in at Gala Bingo with a chance to win bigger.

He already stated it`s a social event that he wants to play, the lad just wants some pointers to make it profitable too.
Gambling it up for me is the only way to go.

There are officially no ways to play this in a skillfull way!!  Its a push it and pray format.  Assuming no1 busts in the 1st 30mins, then the average stack will be 6.6bb"s!

i did forget to mention that it is a pub league and it is free to enter, i only play it for three reasons:

1. i do want a trophy for playing poker and as playing is for free, its a free shot at some nice glassware

2. all my friends enjoy a game of poker but do not want to risk too much money so they play down the pub and its one time i can catch up and have a laugh with them.

3. as i do play for the pubs pool team, its a point to meet up and get some practise in before poker and be ready for tuesday nights battles.

i am greatful for every comment and yes i do aggree it is a godawful structure but it is designed so it finishes at 11.30pm so it is a big crapshoot, i just wanted to know if anyone had any ideas as ive tried different strategies and they all have their merits and falls. i personally think that i can crack this crapshoot but boy i am going to need some luck to do it.

p.s forgot to mention i do not know how to play bingo, know any good sites to learn lol
