Carrying seats over

APAT staff - Quick question

If one of us were to qualify for a National Live APAT event through a regional qualifier, will we still be able to play for an Additional seat online?

I have seen this quite often on Blue Square with the GUKPT sats. They allow you to win lets say 2 seats for London Victoria leg and use one for the following leg in Blackpool.

basically, as the topic title suggests, can we carry seats over to the next live event?

And no I won"t win 2 seats because I"m rubbish.

Pete.

You would have to take the seat at the appropriate event Pete, or the value of the seat in cash.

So would the seats be transferrable? Is there anything stopping a player playing in every regional heat, and if they qualified for the nationals several times, would they just have to take a cash for every seat more than one that they won or could they pass a qualification to a friend? I know that some online room say if you qualify for the same event more than one you can nominate another player to take the second.... if thats anything like understandable?

From the reply posted by Des you can assume that seats would not be transferable.

Yes, the fact that the regional heats are all played on the same day and at the same time.

Oh, now I get it. Sorry.
Ive only just realised that each regional heat is a qualifyer to a different championship. For some reason I thought they were all leading up to one event.
What a moron.

Here"s all us wondering how we"re going to negotiate One golden seat in to the national events and you"re spending all day wondering what you"re gonna do with 5   ;) I"m sure you could sell them on E-bay, tournament touting if you like!

quote from apat regional championship page

At stake will be APAT's Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Regional Championships, qualification for APAT's National Championships, Gold, Silver and Bronze medals and prize money for the top 10% of every tournament.

unquote

so they are not just qualifiers for the national events but also part of an ongoing league of 5 events for the regional champions.

Poker is like life, some you win some you loose. but never bluff as sooner or later you will be found out.
