Just saw this thread - I am a firm believer in raising flop/turn for info and decreasing the chances of a scare card coming and having to fold, or gettin outdrawn.  As played it is a good call, but i do think in poker, the more agg route, is often the correct one!

Raising for info lol.

I may raise turn for value/protect my hand- never to fold to a shove- may as well just peel. As prev said- turning hand into a bluff if u raise/fold

not just info. . . . raising him will keep the pot lower unless he has a monster. . . . hence getting control of the pot(which you want) keeping the pot smaller . (which you want if you plan on calling river anyway). or you may well take it down there and then!! !
Win/Win/Win situation.. . .

but obv your way is better. . . . .

Absolutely!!!  Its a key concept, u also get pot control heading into the river.  I like the raise on the turn.  However, I think its important to mention tht this spot, like so many, has no "right way" to play it, just many different variables each with different pros and cons.  Poker is a game of options, not a game of rights and wrongs.
