First of all Cabbie welcome to Apat.
The regional are qualifiers for the National events. If you fail to qualify via the live regionals there are two online qualifying tournies on Blue Sq. on Sunday and Monday 7 & 8 October.
If you still haven"t been lucky enough to win a seat the remainder go on sale via a clickfest on Tuesday 9th Oct. through a link on the Apat web-site.

This is the same for all the National Championships.

The buying of seats (or the "clickfest" as it"s become fondly known) for the National events is via the APAT website.

What generally happens is that we all sit at our PCs about 5 mins before the time the seats go on sale and frantically click "reload" every 5 seconds until the payment link appears.

Once it appears, it"s then a typing speed test to get your credit card details into the system before all the seats have gone, which is usually between 2 and 5 minutes.

If you"re successful in buying your seat, then well done, you"ll have a great time.  ;D

Or if you are really sad, then you have the details on your clipboard ready to "paste". It saves about 6.4 seconds and could be the difference between getting a seat and not. Personnaly I won"t have to go through that again as I will gain my seat through the regionals :)

Now then young Stuart, the bet itself related to you qualifying via the Regional event, not the online events, although I admit that the wording is not too clear.

I"m having my solicitor look over the validity of the bet and I"ll get back to you.

In the meantime, congratulations on qualifying, I presume that you"re as surprised as I ?   ;D

Your wording was that I would be in front of my pc this evening to buy in at 9pm - which I won"t

Is the payment link on the homepage or the tour page?
