Premiership Top Scorer
« on: December 29, 2009, 14:08:48 PM »
I have a wedge on Defoe ... but interested in others" opinions on the market:

Defoe Tottenham 14 Betfair 4.9
Drogba Chelsea 14 Betfair 6.8 (soon departing for the African Nations)
Bent Sunderland 13 Betfair 8.8
Rooney Man Utd 13 Betfair 4.4
Torres Liverpool 11 Betfair 4.7

For me Defoe is still the bet there, Rooney"s great form infront of goal somewhat annoying!

I"d go for  Bent -  as he is only sunderlands goal threat...and he"ll be playing for his world cup place.

others though have good shouts...always an interesting bet

Drogba - only misses a maximum of 4 games in Ivory Coast make it all the way to the final

Torres will come good as we settle in....to finish 5th! ( :"()

Defoe - 1 game makes his tally look good.....dont rate him, just my opinion

Rooney - going for the title so cant ignore shrek

If Liverpool go on a run (which I think they will) and he can stay fit (which is the big question) then my money would be on Torres

Rooney goes threw stages one minute he is great scoring in every game for 4/5 matches in a row then not score for 10 games. Plus M.U don't relie just on his goals,

Bent, Sunderland had a good start to the season but are fading fast at the moment so I can not see him getting goals on a regular basis

Same can be said for Defoe, remember he scored 5 in one game, but Tottenham will fade away

Drogba, even though he is going to the African championships he still as to be conceded as he regular scores so being out for a possible 4 games is not such a big loss.

TORRES with a bit on DROGBA
