cardroom/casino near bristol

hi, in a few weeks i am off from sunny olde norfolk to bristol, its to pass my automotive technical accrediation master technician course, as i will be staying one evening i wondered if ther is a place to play nearby as i dont know what else to do during the evening.

all info would be so greatful.

The Gala Bristol Harbourside is a fine casino with a good poker history.  I think they used to play the Gala Tour Grand Final there, might be wrong.

We"ve got a good crop of APAT players from Bristol and surrounding area, I"m sure one of them will be able to give you a more up to date opinion.

This. It"s pretty much the only place to play in Bristol that is a cardroom/casino. The Bristol and SW Meetup group organise home games as well. You could drive over to Cardiff if you wanted a different casino though.

gala has got the monopoly on poker in bristol, let me know what day you poppin to bristol, tourney on every day 7.30pm, weekend has two on 3pm and 7.30 pm.

just took the satuarday game £28 bounty tourney 3pm, £20 in pot fiver on your head 3 squid to the house. (62 runners)

it wound up at 9.30pm enough time to take the misses to the chinese.

mananged to walk away with 11 bountys as well as my own head £440 for first plus £55 in bountys, not bad coz i only wanted to watch the game on saturady. was a bit of a buggar walkin pass  the blackjack tablesthough

can be tricky navigation at times

cash games are available 25/50p to 1-2 stay always fun!!!

course booked, will be available to play on thursday 22nd april, im only dipping at tourneys as im going for a big blowout on cash at dusk till dawn on sunday(qualified for a tourney through my local rileys league).

what tourneys are running on that thursday night please, i cant wait to come down.
