Betfair won't let me deposit!!!

I opened my Betfair account years ago, and at the time my monthly deposit limit was set to £50. I just tried to make a £400 deposit and it failed. Tried to change my limit, which is fine, but doesn"t take effect for 7 days. Rang the helpline, and they couldn"t help me - the 7 day limit is mandatory.

Great - so I won"t be playing the satellites and Welsh online and PLO games then!!  Great start to the new season - think I prefer BSQ already!!

Des/Leigh - is there any escalation you can help with to overcome this?

Im really surprised they couldn"t help you deposit and make you wait 7 days to be able to do so.

Hopefully Leigh or Des will have a solution for you.

Anybody got a phone number to their poker support? Can you phone in a deposit?
Only seem to be able to get the contact page which says they"ll reply to messages within 4hrs?!?!

Have deposited the maximum £50 - having to play a $22 tourney tonight to try and spin up enough to play the Welsh NLH and PLO games (of course I may be unavailable anyway if I run well in the GUKPT!).

Anyone know if fuinds can be transferred from person to person through Betfair?

Again maybe the powers can speak to them? i have met Tikay/Rich and Des all before and they can confirm I am over 18.. I think my "7" (Which is infact 3) kids I have is proof of that
