Here we go again. Everyone present please, though I know this team doesn"t need encouragement. We can secure promotion tonight so let"s sock it to them!

Not to worry, Ben, it happens. Leigh had a rough exit too.

6 still in at 1st break, but highest is 11th. Gonna be a tough one to win. Several just outside this, so we may be able to get a couple on FT.

Strange night. History was made but it didn"t finish well.

It started badly as several of the team were mugged early on. With 18 left, we had 3 still in, but each it & RaggyMaggie were 17th & 18th, so getting 2 to the FT seemed tough. Having played this league for almost 2 full seasons without ever making an FT or scoring a single point, I was now riding high in 1st. Both each it & Maggie recovered but Maggie went out 14th. Andy was doubling & redoubling to bring him right up the field, whereas I was doing the opposite, having a Roscopiko-style blow-up and almost succeeded in not even making the FT. Went out 8th but Andy almost saved the day for us by climbing to 4th. It meant we had the same points as Birmingham but they got the 3rd place for having a higher finisher.

We are still 3 points clear at the top, but we should be more. I am confident we will take down this league. We have never had a night where we didn"t perform at all  - the 3 times we haven"t scored points we have just missed out, so I"m expecting plenty more points in the remaining games.

Still, after 2 years of donating, I"ve scored my first 2 points - still haven"t cashed though!
