I loved Manic Miner and Jet Set Willy on the Spectrum.

Todays games are a world apart from the stuff we had in the 70"s and 80"s - Amanda"s lad, Jonathan, has had me playing Modern Warfare 2, and I knew not what the hell was going on....

I was awesome at Jet Set willy  ;D

Pah... I"ll bet you never had a game published on the ZX Spectrum when you were 14 years old  ;D

And Ocean.. I"m still awaiting my claim for vibration white finger from for playing daley thompson decathlon :)

I bought my Spectrum to write games on, after writing games for my Ohio Superboard II. Unfortunately I got drawn into the existing games for the Spectrum, so never got to grips with the Z80 processor  :(

One of my close friends, at the time, had a game published for the Dragon computer - I think it was called Screaming Abdabs, a platform game similar to Manic Miner.

The good old days when you needed a tape recorder to load your games

Manic Miner was one of the best

Tron was also a great game

Then came along Sega
