Very simple.

When you play poker, the site earns rake from you in the form of tournament fees or a % or amount per hand at the cash tables.

Some affiliates or sites offer rakeback when you sign up.  This means that usually once a month, you"ll get a percentage of the rake that you have earnt the site back to you in a lump sum.

Hence the phrase "rakeback"  ;D

Anyone who plays online should have rakeback.

I would imagine it is quite high up on the list of requirements for the more serious players as it adds huge +ev.

It"s a good incentive to get players to open accounts and use the sites.

There are a number of affiliate sites that only offer this type of cashback.

Just google "rakeback" and you"ll see what I mean.

If I may...RakeTheRake.com is the one I use.

They can, sometimes, even...re-link your account in case it"s affiliated with someone else.

I was always under the impression that if u have already downloaded the site and it wasn"t through a rake site, then u cudnt sign up?

I being wt behind the ears wasn"t aware of rakeback and just down loaded various sites at various times and now my thinking is, it has stuffed me for any rakedeals?...just when i could make good use of them..... ::)

Nope...although not guaranteed, RtR can re-affiliate your accounts..costs you nothing to try.
