Congratulations to Mark.
I am more than happy with my silver medal position in only my second apat live event.
Had a fantastic two days, met some great people. I will be hoping to get a seat in Newcastle.

Thanks for the nice comments about how I played. It seems that viewers enjoyed the HU  just as much as I did playing it. I made mistakes in the heat of the battle, and still have things to learn but I am very pleased overall with how I am playing.
Got to dash now ,see you later

Craig

p.s. My patient wife watched me throughout and I promised her a meal in the Casino Indian Restaurant. Unfortunately it had just closed when we finished so I treated her to a McDonalds drive-through on the way home.

Sounds like a great weekend, well  played the winners, and well done Debs, great effort.
Will be missing Newcastle, due to it being Easter and the first Cricket match of the new season :-[

PS It was a long weekend and I didn"t get to each much fruit and veg. Right now I"m really pining for an apple. (That one"s for you Tony T.)

Nice.  :D

Well played Tod, on fire at the moment and unlucky to go out the way you did but a great defence of your title.

Another awesome weekend. Dissapointed to go out early but meant more time for banter, drinking and robbing the muppets at the cash tables, which paid for my weekend!

Big thanks to Des, Leigh, Tighty, Maylis James and all in team APAT. Wouldn"t be the same without the efforts you guys put in. Apologies once again to Leigh for trying to snog him on Saturday night, although i blame Maylis!  ;)

Congratulations to all the winners and big respect to Tod Wood, fellow BCPCer on a great defence of his title.

Next up, the final week of this seasons BCPC, followed by the start of the new season of the online league and the PokerPlayer magazine tourney in Bristol in 2 weeks. Then of course, APAT Newcastle. Bring it on!

Gary.. Talking about not putting forum names and faces together. Only just realised "bear21" is you.
I owe you big time for this weekend.

Firstly for your hospitality, cheers for the hotel room. If i"d of driven home at 3am i probably wouldn"t of returned for day 2, either that or by the time i"d of woken up Sunday i would probably of been blinded out.

Secondly for your friendliness, thanks for railing me at the start of day 2 before the omaha. I remember one hand you saw i folded A-K pre-flop against what turned out to be A-A against another A-K.

And finally for talking sense into me telling me to play for the win, i managed to hold my game on the final table, when i should of probably shoved with 3x BB i passed allowing for someone else to get knocked out letting me ladder up one more position.

P.s Did you say you had plans for Newcastle?

Lol. Beat you to it Paulie!

This one drives me mad, see it far too often these days.

Actually had to review a report from a graduate the other day where he"d done the same. Suffice to say it went straight back and he was told to review it himself before wasting my time!

I wonder if Des could enforce a grammar & spelling censor feature like he does for profanity.

Paulie like this.
