who's firing? who is giving up?
« on: May 09, 2011, 19:52:41 PM »
Hand from last nights SCOOP about 100 from the money

Read on villain is that he is poo (not a bad player but someone who is a big floater in and out of position)
He has taken a lot of pots off a lot of players by calling in position pre, floating and then firing and winnning when checked too. He has been flatting in the blinds more than anyone else at the table.

I"ve been pretty quiet for a while and have generally been conservative.

My read on the villain is that I can get a third barrel through, but is this a good board to be doing such things?

go with your read right or wrong rob, if my rough count up is right and u left a pot size all in bet for the river on the turn, then fire away imo...

Yea, if I can barrell in these spots where I can adequately rep the top of my range, then I"m going to empty the clip.

on this flop texture im firing 1 or 3 barels, the turn is pretty good for our perceived range but its also pretty good for his flop calling range (maybe negated by the fact you said hes a serial floater) If hes "calling out of the blinds more than anyone at the table" in addition to making life difficult post flop you shouldn"t raise 56o here, if he just defends his blind and check folds a bunch i would though. but yeh i wager all of my chips on the river and hope to god he folds lol im way too hungover to do the maths on whether you have a PSB left on the river or not, if you dont then you need to bet a bit bigger OTT.
