Welcome to APAT, you"ll have a great experience.

The national events are usually held over two days, each starting at 2:30pm.

Blind levels are 40 mins, with the first break after level 4 for 10 mins and then an hour dinner break after level 7 or 8. Day one will usually play until somewhere between midnight and 1:00am.

With 200 runners, the payout will be to the top 20 (10%), with a first prize somewhere around £3,500, 2nd prize around £2,000 and 3rd around £1,500. 4th to 10th maybe £600, and 11th to 20th approx £300 or £400 - these are all estimates.

Best bet is to browse around the forum and the site, there"s an awful lot of info on here. If you can"t find answers then post questions, we"re a very friendly membership

Thanks for the great welcome and the Info!

What happens next? When do they release the list of players that are in the comp?

Ok, the list of players that have got in via tonights "clickfest" should be posted within the next hour - it"s usually around 11:00pm.

The full player list probably wont be published until a couple of weeks prior to the event - we"re still awaiting some of the results from the regionals that took place on Saturday. Also, some players that have qualified decline the option to take up the seat they"ve won, and so seats are then offered to the folk on the reserve list.
