« on: September 11, 2011, 17:31:14 PM »
Please take time to listen to the new UK Based Poker Podcast "In The Muck Poker", brought to you by hosts Dann Williams and Tom Piccirilli.

The podcast is available online at www.inthemuckpoker.com or via iTunes

Although a new concept, we are looking for a longstanding podcast that covers off UK Based Poker issues including Tournament Results, Hand Discussion, Player Interviews and a whole lot more.

Please take the time to listen, Episodes released fortnightly

Any questions, queries or feedback go to the facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/In-The-Muck-Poker/208794215843545

or follow us on twitter, @itmpokerpodcast

Both links can be found on our homepage.

We want to know what the UK Poker Player wants to hear about, and as this is THE place for the grassroots up UK player, we look forward to your feedback, and hopefully your continued support.

I can also confirm that we will be recording a LIVE podcast from the APAT UK Team Championships, as we are both part of the GNF team and look forward to seeing you all there.

Thanks for listening

All the Best

I am halfway through the pilot (will probably need to go to bed and listen to the rest tomorrow) but I think this is something which could really benefit UK Poker.

My two-penneth based on 30 miuntes of the pilot

-You two obviously have very good knowledge and players of all levels should be able to relate to this
-doing live podcasts from events sounds a great idea. I assume you are already planning to get some guests on there who are playing these events
-get some fun guests on other editions, such as the hit squad players you talk about in the pilot
-I think that your assessment of some of the "dribblers", whilst may be accurate, is possibly harshly expressed! I don"t think I"m a dribbler, but when I look back at my early forays into poker I was very poor and people at this level should be a good target audience for the podcast
-I would love to hear some "non-hold "em" pieces as NLHE is too dominant and you have the opportunity to raise awareness of other games

-the co-presenter sounds like Stephen Marchant  ;D

Keep it up Guys

Thanks for the listen guys!!

I would like to apolgise on behalf of the podcast for a "negative" comment, late in the pilot episode reg: APAT events, it is in there and we arent proud of saying it. I sent Des copies of the podcasts (both pilot and episode 1) for him to listen and make sure he is happy with the content.

It is learning curve for us both, and we (i especially) can be a lil off the cuff.

Please listen to Episode 1 fully after the pilot, as i attended 2x WCOAP Events, incl the Main Event Day 1b and quickly write the wrongs previously mentioned.

Again, my apologies

Most of the way through the pilot and enjoying it so far. Seems like a great idea as expect there is a large market for this sort of thing and not a lot of other good quality UK poker podcasts.

One thing I would say is be careful about calling players out as "terrible" without discussing specific plays by them in hands. Perhaps just me but didnt feel massively comfortable hearing names being discussed without any justification behind it.

Keep it nice and local, interviews with well known UK poker faces and local grinders would be great. Discussions about local tournaments and the UK scence is the uniqueness so stick to this... I will be listening
