It wasn"t 6max today in the end. Standard was pretty poor though, hoping its the same tomorrow!

Tonight"s side event £100 NLH was cancelled due to such a high demand for the Main Event

Hi guys,

Anyone playing this? http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/festival.php?a=r&n=9703

I"m driving up from Southampton Thursday morning, returning Sunday evening. If anyone would like to car share, give me a shout.

I played Day 1A yesterday and the lad sat to my right was from Southampton, was this you?
If it was vul when all-in pf 3way with your QQ v JJ v 99 . The 99 who was last to act with a mid stack somehow found a call for his tournament life ,and didn"t just hit on the flop but quads on the river.

The good news is I managed to qualify for Day 2 which is tomorrow saturday.
If I can find my Apat shirt or hoodie they could make an appearance on the livestream you never know http://www.gentingpokerseries.com/

I am less than average stack but it is a good structure with 60 mins blinds so I will do my best. They are expecting about 120 players going back for Day 2 but not confirmed yet.

Wasn"t me. I could only dream of getting it in that good!

Less said about my tournament the better. Got up to 32k pretty early but if I had air they"d always have it. When I was bluff catching they"d always have caught something unlikely (my exit hand was a late position battle with KQ v A6 in raised pot. Flop K6622) If I did hit and win I"d simply see scare cards on the turn killing my action!

Awesome structure though, and standard pretty poor. So much limp-calling and calling 3bets OOP. 5 hours in I haven"t 3bet once yet some lad still finds a flat call of a 4bet with KQo. Yes, I get spiked, but worse - I turn a draw so bleed more chips when he bets 20% of pot on the turn.

I was ousted first level today ... AJ vs Q8s (not priced in) ... I am behind ... but I call ... why?

I will write more on my blog later ...

I played day 1b yest, but busted last level (which is a trait I have ATM)
Standard was so poor, as my exit hand shows.
Blinds 600/1200/100 playing 50k.

Girl raises mid position (playing 44k) to 2400, one caller and I look at TT on btn. I 3bt to 8.1k and she calls. (pot 22k ish)
Flop 976r and she cbets 8k, I jam and she class with..................QTo......river comes a J! Pah, I shove my last 5bbs with JJ and lose to K6 lol

Shame as 100k woulda been lovely for day 2.

Very frustrating especially after finishing 50th in DTD Grand Prix and then 9/200 in the One Way Poker event in Bristol.

It"s coming!

I"m a bit lost here...

Did you have Tens or Jacks and if you did then how did you lose to K6....

It"s ok Bill, I"m s4ooter"s PA so I will clear up his work for him. Flop was 986 (not 976) meaning J gave villain a straight to beat his pair of tens.

After losing that hand he has 5BB which he loses with JJ v K6.

PS he meant "donk bet" rather than "cbet" as well

Glad I could help

They did a deal with 6 left, and played for the remaining pot

Winner was Ruslak, the ex DTD dealer in seat 2
