Forgive the shameless plug but Carlsberg are launching a National Pub Cup competition in the next couple of weeks. It"s a 5-a-side tournament with Regional Heats held at Goals & Powerleague sites around the UK. The National Final will be held at the Emirates in May with the ultimate winners going to Euro 2012 to play against a team of "European Legends".
www.carlsberg.co.uk/pubcupYou need to affiliate yourself to a pub that sells Carlsberg in order to enter the Pub Cup and you have a couple of weeks left to register your team.
The Event also carries a "green card" element. If a referee spots an act of sublime skill, great sportsmanship etc. that players team goes into a draw to play at a Plate competition at the Emirates on the same day as the final.
