Chip and a Chair.
« on: July 21, 2012, 12:29:36 PM »
I don't normally do online tournament reports but thought  I would share one from last night, there will be a few hand histories from Stars. I will remove all players not involved in the hands, there are only 3 hands so bear with me.
It's just to show never give up in a tourney as anything can happen, skill game?.

I didn't go on to win it but finished 5th for $350, ok here goes it's a $55 $5k gteed 98 runners.

Hand 1. Assuming was flipping with original raiser but spewie Rumanian guy playing any Ace so was happy to go 3 way, triple up or go to bed.

HAND 1:
Seat 1: Bluffar (11230 in chips)
Seat 2: donkeyPacks (8845 in chips)
Seat 5: erimus14 (9656 in chips)

Bluffair: folds
*** FLOP *** [3d Tc Jh]
*** TURN *** [3d Tc Jh] [8d]
*** RIVER *** [3d Tc Jh 8d] [9d]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
donkeyPacks: shows [Ac Jc] (a pair of Jacks)
erimus14: shows [Kh Ad] (high card Ace)
donkeyPacks collected 19300 from pot
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot 19300 | Rake 0
Board [3d Tc Jh 8d 9d]
Seat 1: Bluffar folded before Flop
Seat 2: donkeyPacks showed [Ac Jc] and won (19300) with a pair of Jacks
Seat 5: erimus14 showed [Kh Ad] and lost with high card Ace

Ok so I am now left with 811 chips blinds are 250/500, normally I would switch off the pc or just put the rest in next hand, but because I had to retrieve the mouse from the other side of the room I missed the next hand and was all in with the hand below, I don't understand why I only get one caller but that was to my advantage.

HAND 2:

Seat 1: Bluffar (10110 in chips)
Seat 5: erimus14 (751 in chips)
erimus14: posts the ante 60
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to erimus14 [8h 4s]

Seat 5: erimus14 (small blind) showed [Ks Ah] and won (28182) with a pair of Aces
Seat 7: Le_Blem1 showed [9c 9d] and lost with a pair of Nines

The rest of the tournament was fairly standard stuff although on the money bubble dodged a bullet with KK v 77 he hit his set but his min bet to my c bet led me to believe he had a monster.

I got to showdown losing the minimum, was also watching the other table at the same  time and there was an all in and call, so used the timebank to my advantage, could not get the double up on the ft but managed to ladder a few places to 5th for $350,  nice boost to bankroll.
