Individual match results are posted on this thread: http://www.apat.com/forum/index.php?topic=11712.msg186504#msg186504

Unfortunately you only had 2 players on Sunday. So, although your win netted 25 points, your combined total wasn"t quite enough to score a point for your team.

without being controversial i think it would be good to look at the points system going forward if this competition was to run again, i think its good to reward committed teams but at the end of the day it is a poker competition and think there should be more points for first second third to encourage players to play for the win and not just reward those for laddering up. What do others think so far?

I was in a similar position in the first game benji where we only had three players playing and one of them bombed early doors.  I won it and we only managed to scrape third in the points

The points system is far from perfect as it does encourage laddering up.  You could have 4 players finishing in a 30 runner game in places 10th, 9th, 8th and 7th and they would more than likely win the 5 points.

That said, it was sold as a "team" comp and as such we all (well not all, but most it would seem) knew the rules when we entered.

Maybe tweak on the points scoring if there is a next time.
